VuWall Now Shipping TRx 4.0 and VuCore™ for Mission-Critical Visualization and Control
New software architecture and centralized services platform simplify control room deployments, strengthen reliability, and support scalable video wall and KVM operations
MONTREAL, CANADA, October 7, 2026 – VuWall, a Panoptec company and technology leader in video wall management, KVM, and AV-over-IP solutions, today announced the general availability of TRx 4.0 and VuCore™, following their introduction at InfoComm 2026. Now shipping, the next generation of VuWall’s centralized management software and its new services platform provide a unified foundation for deploying, managing, and expanding mission-critical visualization and control systems.
TRx 4.0 combines multi-video wall management, AV-over-IP distribution, and KVM operations in one intuitive interface. Hosted on VuCore, the software introduces a modernized architecture and a hardened operating environment designed to reduce system exposure, improve performance, and support long-term reliability. A redesigned configuration module streamlines system setup and administration while preserving the familiar operational experience customers rely on.
“Control room teams need immediate access to critical information, while the AV and IT teams supporting them need systems that are easy to deploy and maintain,” said Fadhl Al-Bayaty, Vice President of R&D and Product Management at VuWall. “With TRx 4.0 and VuCore now shipping, we are bringing those needs together. Customers gain a stronger software foundation and a centralized platform for essential services, helping them reduce complexity today and expand their capabilities as operational requirements evolve.”
VuCore consolidates TRx, PAK Dispatcher, and access to websites, dashboards, remote desktop sessions, and files on one secure, scalable platform. By bringing services and operational content together, it reduces the need for separate appliances and simplifies configuration, maintenance, and expansion. Integrators gain a more streamlined system architecture, while operators can access the information they need across video walls and KVM workstations.
Designed for environments where continuity is essential, VuCore supports clustered deployments with automatic failover, integrated backup capabilities, centralized service monitoring, and diagnostics that support recovery and ongoing system maintenance. Available in compact and 1U rackmount models with redundant power supplies, VuCore provides deployment options for different performance and infrastructure requirements.
TRx’s web-based interface enables administrators and operators to configure, route, and control sources and destinations through drag-and-drop workflows without installing client software. Native integration with G&D’s ControlCenter matrices brings visualization and KVM resources into a unified workflow. Dedicated plugins for Genetec Security Center and Milestone XProtect also allow users to control TRx directly from their video management systems.
Together, TRx 4.0 and VuCore help organizations simplify complex control room environments while establishing a scalable foundation for additional VuWall services and capabilities. The combined solution supports applications across many verticals including security, transportation, utilities, government and defense, and data centers.
