VuWall and NETGEAR Simplify AV-over-IP Deployments with Automated Network Configuration
VuWall support in NETGEAR AV OS™ simplifies configuration for faster, more reliable AV-over-IP deployments
MONTREAL, CANADA – May 14, 2026 – VuWall, a global technology leader in video wall management, KVM control, and unified visualization solutions, today announced a collaboration with NETGEAR to simplify the deployment of AV-over-IP systems for mission-critical control rooms and visualization environments.
As control rooms continue to evolve, AV-over-IP has become essential for delivering flexible, scalable, and efficient video wall and KVM workflows. However, network configuration can be complex, often requiring specialized expertise to properly manage multicast settings, VLANs, IGMP snooping, QoS, and other parameters that are critical to system performance.
Through this collaboration, support for VuWall products has been added in the general video profile central to NETGEAR AV OS™ available on every fully managed switch and in NETGEAR Engage controller software. By selecting the video profile, integrators can automatically apply the recommended network settings for VuWall TRx-based deployments, eliminating manual configuration and helping ensure a reliable foundation for video, control, and data streams.
The announcement follows a similar collaboration announced on May 8, 2026, between NETGEAR and VuWall’s sister company, Guntermann & Drunck (G&D), which introduced the G&D KVM-over-IP™ Plugin for the NETGEAR AV ecosystem. With both VuWall and G&D now supported through NETGEAR AV’s configuration tools, integrators can more easily deploy IP-based video wall management and KVM systems using optimized network profiles designed for mission-critical environments.
“AV over IP brings tremendous flexibility to modern control room environments, but network configuration remains one of the biggest challenges for integrators,” said Mark Schmidt, Chief Technology Officer at VuWall. “By working with NETGEAR, we are making it easier to deploy VuWall systems correctly from the start. Together with G&D’s dedicated KVM-over-IP plugin, this gives integrators a more streamlined path to deploying unified visualization and KVM workflows with greater speed, consistency, and confidence.”
The VuWall-supported video profile in NETGEAR AV OS and Engage automatically applies the necessary multicast settings, including IGMP and QoS parameters, for AV-over-IP workflows. This helps installers reduce configuration errors, accelerate commissioning, and deliver more predictable performance across control rooms and operations centers. Network settings that once required hours of manual configuration or dedicated network engineering support can now be applied in minutes.
“NETGEAR is committed to making professional AV networking more accessible and reliable for integrators,” said Laurent Masia, Senior Director of Product Line Management, NETGEAR. “By supporting both VuWall and G&D within the NETGEAR AV ecosystem, we are helping integrators deploy complex AV-over-IP and IP-based KVM systems with greater speed, confidence, and consistency.”
VuWall’s TRx platform provides centralized management and control for video wall and KVM systems, enabling operators to manage sources, layouts, and user workflows from a single intuitive interface. VuWall’s flagship products include the PAK series, which delivers flexible, high-performance AV-over-IP decoding, video wall processing, and IP KVM capabilities, and VuStream encoders that enable reliable source distribution across networked VuWall environments. VuWall’s TRx system also supports G&D ControlCenter-Compact, ControlCenter-Digital, ControlCenter-IP, and ControlCenter-IP-XS matrix switches, reflecting the ongoing collaboration between VuWall and G&D engineering teams to deliver deeper interoperability across visualization and KVM environments.
Together, the VuWall support within NETGEAR AV’s ecosystem and G&D’s dedicated KVM-over-IP plugin further reinforce Panoptec Technologies Group’s commitment to simplifying mission-critical IP deployments. By reducing configuration complexity and creating a more repeatable deployment process, the collaborations help integrators deliver reliable, scalable solutions for control rooms, broadcast facilities, and other demanding applications.
The VuWall-supported video profile is available today in NETGEAR Engage software on NETGEAR AV switches with the latest firmware.
