InfoComm 2025 RECAP
VuWall and G&D at InfoComm 2025: A Unified Vision for Control Room Excellence
At InfoComm 2025, held June 11–13 in Orlando, Florida, VuWall and G&D exhibited together at InfoComm for the first time, but certainly not the last. Now operating under the same ownership, the companies joined forces impressing visitors with a joint solution developed and launched in only a few short months since their joint venture began in January 2025. The new VisionVS, a G&D dual-encoder with VuWall technology inside, marks a significant advancement in integrating video wall management and KVM control into a single appliance, streamlining control room operations for enhanced efficiency and performance. As many voiced on the show floor throughout the week: “It’s a real game-changer”. Never has it been this easy and seamless for operators to manage and control any source, whether KVM computers, IP cameras, SCADA, or other on both desktops and video walls with a single mouse and simple glide and click.
With an attendance of 31,000 people at the show this year, our team of 26 – the biggest for us yet at InfoComm – was busy with demos and meetings all day long. And although some of the LED display tech on the show floor continues to advance and impress, we were happy to see that those who do work in command-and-control, were impressed with our technology and the expertise of our team.
THE VALUE
Exhibiting at InfoComm 2025 delivered exceptional value for VuWall and G&D. Showcasing our latest technology allowed us to gather invaluable feedback and uncover new business opportunities. More importantly, the event fostered meaningful conversations and strengthened connections with partners and prospective customers. InfoComm 2025 also offered deep insights into emerging trends and innovations, reaffirming our commitment to leading the ProAV industry into the future.
INFOCOMM 2025 – HIGHLIGHTS
1. VisionVS: Bridging Video Walls and KVM Control
VisionVS represents a groundbreaking innovation by combining two previously separate technologies—video wall visualization and KVM control—into a single, cohesive appliance. This dual-encoding device allows operators in control rooms to manage and interact with multiple computer sources and video wall displays simultaneously through a unified system. By streamlining system architecture, VisionVS reduces complexity, lowers hardware costs, and minimizes latency issues that often occur when multiple separate devices are used. This integration is particularly vital for industries such as security, transportation, utilities, and emergency response, where operators require instantaneous access to high-quality video feeds and precise control over multiple systems to make rapid, informed decisions. VisionVS not only improves workflow efficiency but also enhances the overall situational awareness of control room personnel. 2. Q-SYS Plugin
The new Q-SYS plugin from VuWall enables seamless integration of VuWall’s video wall and AV-over-IP management systems within the Q-SYS ecosystem. This powerful plugin allows users to control and monitor VuWall solutions directly from the Q-SYS Designer Software interface, streamlining workflows and enhancing operational efficiency. By bridging these two platforms, the plugin simplifies system management for AV professionals, delivering a unified, intuitive control experience that supports complex environments with ease and reliability. 3. Centralized Management with TRx 3.10
VuWall’s powerful TRx 3.10 software is designed to provide centralized and intuitive management of video wall and operator workstation content. The software enables operators to easily configure display layouts, switch between sources, and monitor multiple inputs with minimal training. Its flexibility supports complex control room setups and integrates with third-party devices, providing scalability and customization. TRx 3.10 bring complete interoperability with G&D ecosystem of matrix switches and the new VisionVS as well as a new dynamic control panel designer, along with several other enhancements.
4. Enhancing User Interaction with ControlVu
To complement the hardware and software capabilities of VisionVS, VuWall also introduced ControlVu, a touch panel interface designed for intuitive and efficient operator interaction. Integrated with TRx’s Control Panel Designer software tool, ControlVu provides a tactile, visual control surface that simplifies real-time system management. Operators can quickly select video sources, switch layouts, and interact with the video wall content using simple gestures and controls. This streamlined user experience reduces the learning curve and improves reaction times during high-pressure scenarios. The combination of ControlVu and Designer empowers control room personnel to customize their workspace according to operational needs, enabling more dynamic and flexible workflows. Ultimately, this user-centric design enhances situational awareness and decision-making capabilities.
