Expansion of International Team

“The increasing demand for VuWall software all over the world has made it necessary for the Company to take the next step and invest to support its rapid growth. Vic Caruso is onboard as VP Sales and Marketing and additional employees have been hired for the new headquarters in Canada. These strategic moves will strengthen VuWall’s position in North and Latin America. Furthermore, it was also necessary to open a presence in Europe dedicated to support the European, Middle East and African countries. The European office will be operated by Mark Schmidt, who headed the IT development department of eyevis during the last 16 years and Eric Hénique who worked at eyevis during the last 14 years and who was responsible for the international sales and marketing.”

“We are delighted to be joining the VuWall team to help develop key markets in EMEA,” said Schmidt and Hénique. “We strongly believe that we have the right experience to support the growth that VuWall is experiencing in the marketplace.“

“I am very pleased to welcome three highly capable team members to VuWall. These gentlemen know everything there is to know in this industry. In regards to our European team, Mark has very deep knowledge of control management software, video wall controllers and the AV industry. His contributions will help us develop the most advanced visualization solutions in the market. Also, integrating the know-how of Eric, who has experience building an international network of partners, resellers, offices and subsidiaries from the ground up, will ensure that we become an indispensable brand in the command and control, presentation, information, digital signage and collaboration applications“.

Vic Caruso, who most recently served as Regional Sales Manager at Matrox where he also held positions as Director, New Business Media and Director of Sales and Marketing, now leads sales channel development within the various verticals of the AV industry.

“Vic brings over 20 years of experience to our organization. He has already made significant contributions by increasing our presence through regional sales channels, assembling a global VuWall sales team and developing partnerships with local players. His deep understanding of technology and product development is a critical asset for our company,” said Vander Plaetse.

“Working with Paul, Mark, Eric and the rest of the VuWall team is an exciting opportunity to bring advanced technology to both mission-critical applications as well as to retail, corporate, academic and other environments that have yet to benefit from the incredible visualization capabilities of our software,” said Caruso. In his role at VuWall, Caruso will further develop the international control room market while forging a presence in digital signage, corporate environments and public information markets worldwide

Paul Vander Plaetse, commented, “I would like to welcome Vic, Eric and Mark to our team. With their considerable experience in the industry and their understanding of the local channels, they will be instrumental in helping us grow our business on an international scale.”

Advanced Product Technology

With the recent evolution in the video processing and display technologies, it is now possible to build highly reliable and high performance video walls from Commercial-Off-The-Shelf components.

“We believe that a powerful user interface can help increase productivity in a control room, only if it is simple to use, implement and configure. We are continuously adding new features and functionalities to our VuWall2 software package. One of the most useful functions is the script-editing tool that allows integrators to easily create macro-commands that combine commands to the video wall controller and to third party devices, like matrix switches or IP video decoders. VuWall2 is one of the easiest products to configure and with which to go live,” says Vander Plaetse.

“The concept is unique in the market and will offer system integrators tremendous opportunities. The choice of hardware is obviously important but it is just as important to get the most adaptable software tools to maximize the utility and performance of each video wall. The VuWall product is an optimal combination of modular hardware and highly collaborative software,” states Schmidt.

Hénique adds: “The advanced features and the ease of use of the system is what the market has been waiting for. The architecture allows for affordable and high-performance solutions for all sizes of display wall projects for total visual control and connectivity.”

VuWall differentiates from traditional controller manufacturers by the open architecture of their products as well as:

  • concentrating R&D efforts in collaborative visualization software
  • developing hardware-agnostic solutions

VuWall Technology develops collaborative visualization software and sells video wall controllers through a network of audio visual integrators and distributors around the world. In line with the
increasing availability of Commercial Off The Shelf Video Wall hardware on the market, VuWall
Technology develops software products that make it easy for system integrators to deploy video wall
projects within the most demanding control-room environments as well as other innovative applications.
